So I dont know about you but I've heard people call weed "herb" or "erb" which made sense to me. I learned in my food science class about 2 weeks ago that herbs are the leaves of plants and spices are the stem seed bark bud or flower of the plant.

So since weed is technically the bud/flower of the plant, wouldn't weed officially be a spice?

not trying to start a fight or anything, just made me think :p i'm just high right now :smoking:

  2. That's the culinary difference. From what I just read on wikipedia, the botanical difference is not the same as the culinary.

I think the bud is considered a flower?

  3. Nailed it
