my friend has recently stopped smoking weed due to various medical tests shes had to get done. but then somebody told me that even if weed is in your system, unless they are looking for drugs they wont find them. is that true? or will they just find them anyway?
This is an entire message board devoted to weed and yet you find one of the only sections that isn't to ask this question in. But in any case, there's no reason that any sort of medical professionals would be looking for drugs in your blood/urine/whatever samples, unless the test was being performed for something that could be related to drugs. Furthermore, even if they did manage to inadvertently find out that you had done drugs, there's nothing they could do about it. Doctors have strict confidentiality procedures that they must follow unless you're posing an immediate threat to yourself or others. Having drugs in your urine isn't much of a danger to anyone.
They would have to be LOOKING for specific metobolites in your blood. If they find out on 'accident' (not possible) they still can't do anything because you did not consent to a drug test and they are not the authorities and you are not pregnant (right?). If your pregnant its a different ballgame.
