    If someone gets pulled over, and the passenger gets caught with weed in his pocket, does the driver get in trouble with him?

    because you are driving the car, you are in possession of everything in it.

    Nope, deffo not. If they can't establish ownership of the drugs they'll arrest everyone in the car. If it was on a person then that person is in possession, no one else.
