Weed and suicidal thoughts

    hey guys.

    Today i felt so low that i stayed home from school and slept all day. I have felt like these could be my last few days.

    do you recommend I go out and score a G of some nice fine dank to roast over the weekend to make me feel better

    edit: I felt like Sunday would be my last day. i feel like i have thrown my entire future away. everyone i love has left me.
  2. Go for it. Then when you're high as fuck, take some time to figure out what exactly is bringing you down, and how you can go about fixing it.

    You don't want to get into the habit of turning to weed when you're sad.
  3. I recommend you talk to someone about your depression.. We've all had our lows but it's part of life man. Life is too precious to throw away because of one single day of feeling terrible.
  4. Uhmm, no matter what the situation, suicide is never the answer. Suicide is a permanent 'Solution' to a temporary problem. I don't know you or anything, nor do I know what you go through (e.g home life, school life, social life.) But man, never consider suicide. Please.

  6. Definitely do it, but make sure not to do it more than once or twice. As the second poster said, don't make it a habit of turning to weed when you're depressed

  10. I have bipolar disorder and find it impossible to learn in school. I am not stupid, but I can't focus and learn in public schools. I can't memorize information just to be put back on the standardized tests, and I cannot pull myself together enough to finish the countless number of assignments and papers.

    The only person I was ever close to, a girl, has left me completely. She has changed and it makes me sad. She started smoking weed. She used to be the lightness in my life... a break from "drugs" and "bad things" I was always around... and now she is not like that anymore and she has left me.

  12. I went through a bad spell where my first thought in the morning was wondering what a bullet would feel like going through my skull. I would start the car to go to work and debate between opening the garage door or just going to sleep.
    Life changes. It was good at one point in the past for you I assume. What can change for the worse, can change for the better.
    I don't know you so I won't pretend to know what is best for you, but find someone to talk to. A parent, look up an old friend. Do something to occupy your time. Volunteer somewhere. The first step out of the hole is the hardest. Good luck blade.
  13. Happiness is always a mindset away my friend. And I don't mean using chemicals to get there.. Maybe try to find a hobby that you can discuss with others or just something to keep your mind off of negative thoughts?

    If your anything like me when I was depressed, it was because I was focusing on very negative things in my life instead of trying to create positive things.. I think you should just try to find something that makes you happy.

    btw, meditation was a great tool I used to find it for me.
  14. If you're in high school, just tough this last year out. Senior year is the easiest. Then take some time off from school and save up, try to go to a smaller school that caters more specifically to individual students. This is assuming you want to get a degree; if not, then you won't have to worry much longer about school!

    As for the problems with your friend, did she leave you through her own choice? Why does her starting to smoke weed dim the light she once held for you? Is she now associated with the bad things in your life? Is there any way you can avoid those things?
  15. Dude please your fellow blades care for you.

    I don't know what you have been through but I know what it's like to have those thoughts. My life isn't too great right now but the only thing that gets me through it is that I know time heals all. Don't give up.

    Today there might not be a solution, but tomorrow there might be, you never know. Just realize that there is always going to be shit thrown your way, you just gotta use it to make you stronger, not weaker.

    You may think noone is there for you but us Blades are. I'm here if you need to talk.

    Life is just a game might as well have fun!

    Good choice Mr Gargamel! I find that weed just makes my depression worse most cases.. It's really meant to be enjoyed in the right state of mind. Hope all goes well my friend. Remember, your blades always here to chat!

  20. Study outside of school. I'm bipolar also and I had no chance of learning when i was in class. I began studying outside of class instead of sitting on facebook all day and went from a C-D student to an A-B student in about two months.

    Do them in segments. On longer assignments, I will have a breakdown if I try to force myself to sit there for hours on the same assignment. I find doing assignments in parts really helps.

    Uh, you're talking about smoking weed now, so I don't see the problem. I have a friend who's been in and out of rehab since she was 10 (long story that I can't tell due to rules about other drugs) and what she does never affects me. If you don't want her to smoke around you, then just ask her not to smoke.
