A panic attack is just extreme feelings of anxiety. By itself it can't harm you. Now if someone had a really bad heart or something maybe it could harm them but they would have the same risk walking up a big flight of stairs or going for a jog.
Not unless you go jump off a cliff cuz of it or something. Were you feeling negative or anxious about smoking or in general, before smoking? Maybe try lower dosage.
No one has died of an overdose of cannabis- with or without panic attacks. Even the DEA admits that much! “Overdose effects - No death from overdose of marijuana has been reported.” Drug Fact Sheet – Marijuana www.dea.gov/druginfo/drug_data_sheets/Marijuana.pdf It is possible, but not probable, that you could freak yourself into a heart attack, or do something "Darwin Award" stupid while having a panic attack, but I hope you are more sensible than that. If you have a panic attack, put a comedy on the TV, drink a cup of sugar-sweetened tea and remember, this too shall pass! Cannabis lowers your blood sugar, and that on its own, can make you feel shaky and weird! And you might consider switching strains! People prone to panic attacks often need a little CBD in their cannabis! Most modern cannabis has had the CBD bred out of it and replaced with THC. Cannabidiol inhibits THC-elicited paranoid symptoms and hippocampal-dependent memory impairment. (full – 2012) http://jop.sagepub.com/content/27/1/19.long Hope that helps! Granny
I check my blood sugar often and weed has no noticeable effect on it at all. I suppose that could vary by person, I'm a type 1 diabetic so idk.
What do your studies say about cannabis and atrial fib? Who among us hasn't felt our heart rhythms skipping around when we smoke a little too much? The link between atrial fibrillation and weed is becoming well known. Atrial fib causes a five times increase in the likely hood of having a stroke. Because cannabis won't kill you doesn't mean it won't harm you severely. People need to know this risk but they are not being told. We're being told of all the benefits no matter how unlikely but not the risks even when they could be devastating and that's cheating.
First off dear Billy... Weed has NEVER killed anyone unless somehow you happen to have an allergic reaction (which I highly doubt) it ain't happening. Weed also does not induce panic attacks either unless some idiot you're smoking with thinks it's funny to make you paranoid.
