Wedding cake autoflower

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Pebbles003, Jun 18, 2023.

  1. I bought three different strains of autoflower seeds.
The Gelato and Zittles are doing great, but the Wedding Cake is germinating, but not growing.
They are planted outside and in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil.
I have a water measuring stick and I wait until it registers dry before I water.
Does growing Wedding Cake require something different the Gelato or Zittles?

  2. No, it does not. There are a number of reasons why your cakes are having issues. Pictures would help. Bad seeds is a possibility.

  3. What do you mean by "germinating and not growing?" Germinating is simply tap rooting the seed. Vegging would be growing. Do you have them in a clear cup and can actually see the tap root? As sweedright said, pictures will tell a thousand words!
Honestly I don't have the best of luck when it comes to buying seeds. One out of 5 will be bad for me. Usually just bad genetics. Hopefully that's not the case here. Good luck!

  4. Here is a picture. The plant grows just a little, then dies.

It's fascinating to hear about your experience with different autoflower strains. Wedding Cake can indeed have unique growth requirements compared to Gelato or Zittles. Considering factors like light, soil quality, and nutrient balance might be crucial for its successful growth. Websites like lalightingandsound.com might offer valuable insights into optimizing your growing conditions.

Additionally, engaging with experienced growers in forums or communities can provide you with personalized tips and advice. Remember, each strain has its own characteristics, and experimentation can be key to finding what works best for your Wedding Cake plants.

  6. I think this is a bad seed
