So what do you guys think about wearing your own band's merch? I think it's fine, but not really on stage.
I wear our band shirt out and about, but I'd never wear it on stage. You don't need to promote or represent your band while you're performing... the performance speaks for itself.
I agree with this. If I was in a band I would wear the shirt...I think its a general rule of thumb not to where band tees when you are performing.
The only band shirts I wear on stage are from other, local acts that we've played and collaborated with in the past.
That's kinda a cool idea. It's kinda hard not to, i mean, i really only have band t-shirts. and like..... one straight black shirt.
wear your merch all the time..not on stage though but when out in public..gotta promote yourself as much as possible. i plan on getting a few different shirts made soon that i will be wearing often
