I have a pretty new 400w ballast that does MH/HPS. Currently there's a MH light in it. This morning the light doesn't seem to be reaching it's full brightness and temperatures are lower than usual. Anyone else experience this? Is it going to be the light or the ballast? I can probably go get a new light. Would it be best to put the HPS light in to try out the ballast?
Yeah, put the HPS bulb in and see if it's dim also. If so, then it's the ballast. If not, it's the MH bulb. GL!
