  1. SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Two Singaporeans face the death penalty after being arrested for allegedly trying to sell nearly 6.6 pounds of cannabis to undercover police officers.

    The two suspects, aged 44 and 45, were arrested in a police sting operation after a tip-off they were selling the drug through a convenience store in a private housing estate, the Straits Times newspaper reported on Saturday.

    Singapore, which takes a dim view of drug use and trafficking, imposes mandatory death sentences for those convicted of selling more than 500 grams of marijuana.

  4. I believe I would be paying in live in a bottom of a boat for 20 weeks or so to get outta that place and come to Canada...were the goverment is ALOT more civilized!!!
