We Don't Know Everyone Will Die

Discussion in 'Science and Nature' started by LostBegonia, Jan 3, 2023.

  1. we just assume it based on scientific and historical data. the only way to prove it would be worldwide mass suicide, but that seems extreme dontcha think? I'm surprised the flat earths and covid-deniers aren't denying the inevitability of death. "I won't die so long as I eat right, nuts, raisins, and weed"

  2. How would worldwide mass suicide prove everyone dies? Who would be left to notice? And if everyone was dead, you couldn't even prove the sun was still shining.

  3. we are gonna let dogs document the suicide stupid, duh! they will see that we all died and say “yeah they dead! it is inevitable!” then one dog will say hey how do we know that our death is inevitable. hello mass suicide of dogs. they will let dolphins document the experiment.

  4. If there were ever a global mass suicide I can say with 99.9% that DOLPHINS convinced us all to do so

  6. This type of argument could be considered a non sequitur. A non sequitur is a type of argument where the conclusion does not logically follow from the premises. In this case, the argument is "We don't know if everyone will die," and the conclusion being drawn from this statement is unclear. The statement does not provide any clear evidence or logical reasoning to support a specific conclusion, and therefore can be considered a non sequitur. /end chatGPT

  9. we know everyone will die based on the fact that like nobody from 150 years ago is alive today.

  10. Covid deniers? Like the CDC now?

  11. does that prove everyone here will be dead in 150 years?

  12. Unless there is an anti aging medical break through, yes we might very well all be dead.

  13. At some point in the future we'll be able to export our lifes' experiences and memories and upload them to a new 'host' - Not to start a new, but to continue along....

    So....

    Does life = experiences........or a physical host?

  14. Living = Experiences. Life = physical host. imo.

  15. right on. so the best of both worlds with tech! 300 years old here I come!

  16. Then again how do we know that?
There are so many people in this world and many people isolate, like monks and stuff, who knows how old everyone is? There could be many 200 year olds hanging out somewhere secluded probably.
Idk the more weird stuff I see in the world the less I am able to say, 'That's impossible." We just never know.

  17. To be fair, I have heard rumors of people living to be like 170 but they live in isolation, eat a lot of exotic fruit and veggies. None of this hyper processed hyper sodium, fat, cholesterol shit that we in 1st world counties like America, Canada and England have.

  18. Yep, exactly! I heard that too. That takes a lot of discipline. I hope they at least enjoy those organic veggies lol.

  19. I'm immortal, i came from 2000 years in the past to tell you I'll see you all die and record the information in the bio-chip in my spine then I'll travel to the future and do it again, while in the past.
