We Are In War, But Not In War (Usa)

Discussion in 'Politics' started by coolioluke9, Sep 17, 2014.

  1. What you wrote about socialism and capitalism being philosophies is correct.

But what I quote is not in the biggest picture. Correct since about 1980. The big picture has the roman/English post civil war government, courts giving individual rights that only an individual should have, to a group of people who have made a contract to create a fictional entity, an "incorporation" of many into one legal entity.

That's what freedom loving Americans hate. It is wholly unconstitutional.

The only way to end that is with Article V and the only way to make Article V safe for the constitution, for us, is to use preparatory amendment.

  2. It would make more sense if you just said "regulations are a violation of the fifth ammendment"

I feel like you don't really know how to convey your ideas to an audience that doesn't understand you

  3. Here's the thing...the ruling elite care about 1 thing.....and 1 thing only.....and that is their assets & wealth & POWER....they don't give a fuck about you....they don't really give a fuck about religion (it's just a facade)...they only start giving a fuck about something when it effects their money, power, and/or influence.

This is the simple, universal rule. Yes, there are humanitarians in this world, but they don't come out on top, and if they do they won't last for a minute because it's dog eat dog up there and someone evil will be scheming to remove that "weak" individual from power.

Now, IMHO, what's going on right now is an economic shift of power from the west, to BRICK leading countries Russia & China.

    Why?

The U.S is basically an extension of the vision and will of the United Kingdom, the MI6 and the Queen. They follow the same method of imperialistic rule and exploitation of the resources of other countries.

The middle east is the root cause of the problems going on right now.

Many of the ruling factions in the middle east, were put into power through U.S and/or U.K aid. Monetary aid, military aid, covert aid etc..

They are puppets. Everything is fine as long as you obey the puppet master.

However......puppets like Ghaddafi that start to disobey their puppeters (THE WEST), get their strings pulled plain and simple.

This leaves a power vacuum once the current leader is disposed, because every one is fighting for the Wealth that is left over, the Oil, the Weapons, the political power. To some, this is the ultimate reason to fight. Going from rags, to being Kings. Some dumb fuck turban wearing religious desert dweller getting wealthy basically through killing and plundering. It doesn't help the problem, when the U.S financially aids & weaponizes various factions of arabs and militants in the region to keep the fighting going.

When Ghaddafi was disposed, you can bet your sweet cheeks Russian & China were pulling ops in the region, to gain favor and political control in an area that the U.S has just fucked up.  Right now in the middle east, the U.S is known for what it is. People here know exactly what the fuck is going on......

and they are tired of that sh1t....therefore they are turning their attention to Russia,& China....powerful countries which have rose to power through other means other than bombing and fucking up the middle east to the brink.

Every fucking thing is made in China these days, because of cheaper costs. For this reason alone, China has been steadily rising.

Realize that companies like Apple are happy getting their phones assembled in Asia for a fraction of the cost, rather than them setting up a factory in the U.S and supporting their fellow Americans' through jobs and higher wages.

Like I said, money, assets, and power pure and simple.

  4. I dont see how you can truely believe that over regulation caused all this. do you truely believe that when giving the opinion to make more money or help out someone a non living thing with one purpose to make more money is going to make the humanitarian choice? Even with the heavy regulations we have no they still find a way to stack money even if it means destroying the economy for everyone else. and yet you still sound like your saying just let them do there thing, im sure they will make the right decision this time....

  5. Corporations are people too. Quite frankly when they offer steady jobs with a strong tax paying middle class we will do fine. We will complain but there is no threat of a revolution.

Russia is too weak and I am not sure why people fear it so. They are teetering on a real economic collapse, not some threat of higher prices. I suspect they will see another revolution lang before we do.

  6. Yuri, the fifth amendment and Article V are two different things. You really do not know the constitution.

  7. That reminds me of a quote I just ran into:
"The choice for mankind lies between freedom and happiness and for the great bulk of mankind, happiness is better."
    -George Orwell, 1984

  8. No, they are comprised of people. A group of people cannot have the rights of one individual because they can easily use their numbers to violate the rights of of individuals. It causes a loss of equality.

What happens more often than not, is the group uses their advantage, because of greed, to EVADE the responsibilities individuals have.

We need Article V to remove corporate personhood and make them apply for privileges that may equal individual rights. Some corporations deserve them.

I think less of Orwell now because he thinks people are too stupid or too poorly motivated to use freedom to find happiness. That's probably why the son of a bitch got published so widely.

This is essentially the approach I've adopted towards politics. I used to study and care, a lot, really, but not so much anymore. I'll try to stay up to date with new laws at federal, state, and local levels, as well as other things that might affect me or my loved ones. But other than that, politics has somewhat left my radar, and I don't mind it.

As apathetic as it sounds, I have no interest dedicated the single, finite life I have trying to change a broken system, when all my effort would almost certainly be in vain. It seems so much simpler and more appealing to try to better my and my family's lives in the current setting we're in.

    Enjoying the decline :smoke:

And to OP, a large portion of Americans seem to be rather bloodthirsty since those two journalists were killed. It's no surprise they're calling for more war. Hell, why not? We've been in perpetual war for over ten years now, what's another round?

  11. I think people care... but it's this simple the person or organization with more money will have the better chance of winning. Money truly can by anything.

  12. ISIS, Taliban, al-qaeda...how fucking dumb are people? History will repeat itself until the proles give enough of a fuck.

If you honestly think these dudes with a new name, rockets, missiles and the whole 9 are out to get more than just what they want in their country and pose a threat to the states. Stand up and take a bow. You are able to follow like the rest of em.

  13.
You sir are a complete fool. you really think Russia would start this Ukranian shit if they were about to collapse. you think they are week? did you know that the Russian navy alone has more people in it than the whole us defense department. we havent updated our nukes since the 70s, Russia has been. a war starts right now and im buying a Russian Uniform

  14.
It's kind of obvious that our so-called leaders only care about legacy, image, elections, and other cosmetic bullshit and that's about it. In fact, that seems to be about all they are competent at focusing on. Unfortunately, the Islamic fanatics are more knowledgeable than the American people themselves about the kind of incompetent, lying, spineless, doochbags that Americans habitually elect to power.

Confusion causes apathy.  The dumbing down,

As far as I can tell, the nuclear aspect of the cold war was really created to justify immense secrecy and the maintenance of a HUGE black budget.

  17. both the us and Russia had nukes before the war.

The nuclear aspect was not a conspiracy. It was a standoff

I didn't read the whole thread so maybe someone has answered this already, but:

The "Declaration of War" is just a political formality. When a state starts killing people (including its own) by whatever means, it is a war. The US has not officially declared war since 1941, yet has been in almost constant war since (and before). Governments love war, it is the biggest program they have.

As Randolph Bourne said, "War is the health of the state." Just look at what has happened in this country since 9/11: The state has expanded geometrically as personal freedoms have diminished. The state has certainly gotten healthier, at the expense of its citizens -- which is always the case.

Obama is just the latest of the forty-odd mass-murderers who have lived in the White House. Being "blessed" by Congress means nothing. The Constitution means nothing, and never really did. It's just a piece of paper.

Nothing to see here, move along . . .  :hide:

  19.
Same here, maybe this is why you and I agree on so much. :)

Probably starting in the late '90s I began to view politics as a cruel joke. The 2000 election proved it, not to mention the 2004 election. I started listening to Rush Limbaugh in 1990, and found him quite interesting. But it was always the same thing, same slant, no matter what. Bush does "A" and Limbaugh would defend him for days. Obama does "A" and Limbaugh will trash him for days. I turned him on the other day and it was same thing I heard a decade ago, just the names changed. WTF.

Debating politics is no different than debating religion. The partisans have their "god", who is of course flawless. They will defend him down to the last drop, even to the point of defending things they really don't believe in. Better that than to admit any flaw in "their guy" or their belief system.

So I just take it all in stride now, evil joke that it is. I'm just an observer and commentator now, FWIW. When you take politics seriously you're always pissed off at half the population. Fuck that. Life is too short, and it's much more fun this way.

I guess what the real point of this thread was is to ask the question, if the President can really just bypass the constitution blatantly, and the system of checks and balances is really just a joke, what can we as the people really do? if we pass a hundred law against whats happening its just been show it doesnt matter, the government can and will do what they please.

And when we have no more oil left in the nuked middle east, and Russia is knocking on our back door, and the government is in swat gear killing its own people to maintain control; What are we the American people going to do? we havent had a fight on our soil in years, and at least in those days the Government and cannons and muskets and so did we. now we still have cannons and muskets and they have attack helicopters.

Is there a peaceful resolution to this conflict? Or is it just an impending blood bath and the victor will write history once again?
