Im currently running 5 plants under a 400 watt HPS but Im upgrading my grow and adding a couple more grow tents so I can have a perpetual grow. Im going to have a veg tent where they will be vegged for 20 days or so. Then the first flower room for weeks 1-4 Im going to flower under T5's and then the other flowering tent will have the 400 watt HPS. My question is what size t5's Watts or lumens would be efficient to flower 6 smaller sized plants under?
I hope this helps but as far as i know you only need a fraction of lumens for vegging as opposed to flowering.
