The one major concern I have with growing a couple of plants is the amount of wattage I'm willing to use. I don't want my hydro bill to increase more than 20%. I'm aware that hydro companies and police often monitor any major increases in hydro consumption and link it to growing. Ideally I once want a couple of plants with one 150 Watt grow light above them. Not sure if this will provide enough energy for the new plant. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
Ok, one 150watt light isnt gonna increase your usage by 20%, let alone draw enough energy to be worried about the police...and personally for a few plants i'd use a 250w. Think about it, my Air Conditioner draws more power than that light.....
