tryin to set up a small one dwb bb system, prob like 120 ish worth of cfl wattage, + one whisper air pump + needed fans, whatll that come out to in totally wattage roughly?also is that safe to run out of a normal house socket or do i need some sort of surge protector or something of that nature,,,,,,
The air pump, depending on size, would be about 4 watts. What kind of fans are you thinking about? PC fans? Prolly 5-10 watts tops. Even a 4" vortex style fan only consumes 20 watts. Your lights are, by far, always going to be the biggest consumers. You don't need a power strip if you have enough outlets to plug everything in. GL!
