Watt bulb?

    I just ordered a Lumatek 250/400 watt ballast. What would be the best bulb to get for it? Are there any brands that are better than others?

    Lumatek high par lamps are said to be best for digital ballasts. Other than that, SunPulse makes nice lamps for digital ballasts.

    Ive been using digilux bulbs with great results in lumatek ballasts. I the past ive used hortilux, plantmax, agrosun and solarmax bulbs, and the digiluxes are my favorite bulbs so far. only thing i cant attest to is longevity because they are only a month old but im impressed.

    GE Lucalox PSL/XO has a nice spectrum and longer life than the average Eye bulb. My current fave.

    I recieved my ballast yesterday. Lumatek reccomends bulbs that are intended for use in the US. They say US bulbs are better than bulbs intended for use in Europe or Asia. My question is how do you know where the bulbs are intended to be used?
