Right now, i have my seeds germinated, and in soil designed to support seedling growth. I went to water the plants today, i used a spray bottle and got the soil descently wet, and kept the ceran wrap cover on them (they still havent sprouted, it's only been a day since i planted the germinated seeds. I am growing outdoors, in pots 3 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. The area is very warm around here, and we are in a small drought. For instance yesterday i planted the germinated seeds in fresh soil and didnt add any water, when i went to check on them today, thee saoil seemed pretty dry. I don't want to kill the germinated seeds or anything by not watering enough. How often should I water the plants before they sprout? And how often after they sprout? - Vince
u should off water da first day u plant the... stick your finger 2 inch deep, if dry, go ahead n water.. if wet u can check da next day....
Well since these plants are in a remote location, If i wait until tomorrow to go water them again, do you think they will die? Or can they survive with only a little water for a while? - Vince
what kinda soil you using? You should watered the soil thoroughly then let it drain, than put the germinated seed in,then put the seran wrap/baggie over it to keep moisture in til it sprouts.
well if the da soil is still moist it be ok till tomorrow. u dont want to over water, cuzz it will rot da seed..
well tomorrow morning i'm going to visit it very early, and im going to water them more thouroghly. But the plants should be mouste on the top, but the bottom is prolly dry. Do you think it might kill me germinated seeds? - Vince P.S. Im so high and drunk right now, hahaha. i <3 kegparties
