I've recently switched to hydro from dirt.
I built a even-flow system for my mother. I used a 5 galloin bucket with a 3 gallon bucket on top. blah blah... it works good..
I took one of my mothers from its bucket which was in dirt..
I flushed the dirt from the roots in my bath tub.
I removed about 99% of the dirt.. blah blah..
Planted it in the new hydro 5 gallon bucket with a 1/2 solution nutrient so I didn't kill it.
    It's doing ok so far...

    Here's the question:
How many times do I water a mother hydro plant a day in general.. 3 or 4? and how many times when its been shocked so bad? more times a day or less?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - plus other hydro growing tips.

  2. it depends how much water its getting and what not
is it a drip system or what?

  3. I took a plant from its dirt pot and put it into a 3 gallon bucket even-flow set up. It's obvious it will be in shock for a few days..

Should i water it more or less?
and how many time normally, when it's in good health.

  4. if its in a hydro system it will either have its roots in water 24/7, aeroponics and spray the roots, or a flood system pretty much... what is your setup?

and with hydro the only water ive done is refilling my reservoir or watering clones before their roots reach out of the net pots
