hey guys i am a new grower about 3 weeks into my first. i was just wondering if there was a certain standard for watering or if it was all just based on how dry the soil was. also what sort of number would put me in the ballpark of how much water/week i give the plant in about the 3-4 week roughly of vegetation. i also got some miracle-gro all purpose fertilizer but when should i start applying it? lastly, if i want to trim leaves or start tying the plant down, when should i start doing that? any help is greatly appreciated
standard for watering? As the plant ages it will require more and more water, with soil you wait till it is dry, by now you should have some Idea how long that takes, this time will also, shorten. Water your plant until it seeps out of the pot. As to ferts you should be starting them around the 3-4th week, begin with 1/4-1/2 strengh. I expect you are growing indoors and if that is the case you should also consider putting your plants into flowering(they grow quit alot during this stage, 2-3 times what they are when you begin 12/12. I would also get some good ferts for flowering. All I can say about MG ferts is I used them and don't like them for MJ. thanx chimera. ya i am growing inside. that leads me to my next big question. the plant right now is about 1' tall, and i have 3 other plants that are just beginning to show signs of life. so if i wait until the three youngsters are old enough to flower before i flower the big plant, would that be ok. i dont have two closets so its hard to separtate vetetative and flowering stages. well thanx for the help.
