Watering concerns

  1. So my plants is about 26 days old I've been watering every other day..now I've been watering everyday .its been getting drier quicker...is it because of the plant growing or am I not giving it enough water

  2. pictures and more info needed.

  3. Medium, pot size, and pics are required.

  4. Prob need to up pot if it dries out fast. Watering daily is not recommended if it's in the proper pot. Coco you water daily. Other mediums it is frowned upon and leads to issues.

  6. Are you using the weight of the pot to gauge moisture? Looks can be deceiving and that finger poke doesn't work..lol. Thoroughly water and check the weight. I never water to runoff. I dump water in the catch tray and let them wick it up. The pot is heavy when all soaked up. If there's leftover water after a few hours I turkey bast it out. If the medium isn't full hydrated the roots have nowhere to spread. It's hard to overwater with the weight method. Plenty of info out there on this subject.

  7. Use SIPs and take the worry about over or under watering out of the equation.

  8. As of now I think the bucket trick is definitely the best option so far. To bad I cant hook up my garden PVC irrigation system

  9. Silly thing is im not even going to get to use any of this stuff. I'm just doing it for a hobby and its winter time and living my younger life wants lol

  10. the product will find a home.

  11. water only by weight LIFT the pot and THINK, if to water or not
to much water reduces size and can cause root rot

    good luck
