Water Question

    I am in day 42 of flowering and am planning to stop feeding nutes about 10 days before harvest. Do I then just give them straight water from the tap, in other words not pH adjusted at all?

    Keep givin them nutes bro.
    What nutes are u giving them now?
    Last 2 weeks of flowering add 1cup of brown sugar to each watering.
    It's proven to increase your yield.

    They are getting VitaLink Bloom right now. I never heard of brown sugar in the water - I'll give it a go!
    I keep reading that I should stop nutes at about 10 days before harvest so that its not a harsh smoke? As this is my first grow ever - I havent a clue whats best.

    You had it right the first time. Stop nutes about two weeks before expected harvest for exactly the reason you stated, you want the nutes built up in the bud to be used up by the plant at the end, smoking nutes doesn't taste good.

    Be sure you are counting flowering days from when flowering first started, not when you switched to 12/12. Check the trichs under magnification to see if you are on schedule for harvest. After you stop nutes you need to flush, then keep watering as needed with pH-adujsted water.
