water ph low ?

  1. my Ro water i added fish and coconut water to it, and its now 4.5 ph, how can i raise that ? surely cant feed itat that says aim for 6.3 -6.8 feeds ?

  2. Add more RO water... which is 7.0 to 7.4

  3. That Neptune’s Harvest Fish and Kelp drives my pH down to near 5. And that’s adding just 1 tbs to a gallon 9.3 tap water. I do it anyway, once a month maybe (tomatoes, not cannabis)

  4. the soil will fix the Ph of the soil, only fiddle with the ph of water once you have tested the runoff from under the pot, even then I'd wait 12-24 hours for the bugs to work their stuff, then re test, I aim for 6.5, and my much fucked up soil still gives me that, Oh I love her ....lol

  5. I'd be tempted to try a foliar feed, never under estimate the Force of a foliar feed,
the plant only takes what it wants over what we humans force feed, by dumping on her soil

  9. my Ro comes our 0ppm at 5.5ph, gets reminerlised to 80ppm and ph 6.3 how ya gettin 7? that be high CA right ?
@Weedweasle extactly that lol, i think hes got same RO as me .
yeah ive been just doing it but i noticed each time i do i get a tint to a leaf , or a spot rust, and when i resume the RO only it stabilised the ph again as growth was normal , was like the ph dropped a lil so i wondered if i needed to adjust it, scattering ewc didnt do shit lol

  10. LED spray all the time
HPS dont stress wait til there in bed

@Vee haha yeah foilar is king defo takes away an energy needed for conversion at roots, frees it up to spend elsewhere, but what do ya do in flower ? i mean florafarms got all his weed returned after microbes were detected on leaf after he foilared to week 4 flower with microbes lol, in flowers never advised to spray and thats pretty much where i need the extra energy on the lat few weeks,

  11. no no never hit the flower or the water leaves, when I use this method I aim at the fan leaves, mid to lower on the trunk, Im of it coming up to flower for that reason ..lol

  12. Mine is 8.6 going in and 7.2 coming out,

  13. Ouch that’s hard water how many stages do yours run ? And how often change them ? Normaly if mines ph rises it’s time to change filters , but mine is 7.4 in but if the minerals removed it should apparently be like 5.5 or not have a score as such,
    I run through 6 filters for a 0ppm

  14. thats the soil 'fixing' the ph not the plants, tho the plants will take a bite, but not much IMO ...lol

  15. 5 stage commercial RO system 40 gallon fiberglass pressure tanks.
I change the water in my DWC/RDWC systems every 7 days
MY RO water outlet is 42 PPMS Its starts inlet water at 1500 PPM's.
All bottled water store bought and store RO machines is neutral 7.0 to 7.2 PH .

My friend owns a drilling company, the great basin aquafer,,, Northern Nevada where I live the PPM's are 1500 and the PH is 8.6.
If you think we dont have water in the high desert, Barrick Gold strike mining pumped one million gallons of water per minute for 7 years for their dewatering for the open pit mining and underground mining.
The water is 100 to 110 degrees F.
Where I live we have the largest gold deposit in the world ,

The well water here is insane with minerals and bacteria. More gold then anywhere else in the world.

I don't have run off...........per say, only with seedlings in a germination and seedlings.
Everything else is hydroponics, with the water quality I have I have no choice but know the water I must work with,
I do have a green house, but all my plants are in the ground.
I have used FF bagged nutrients, might be the only person in here that actually ordered semi loads of FF Strawberry fields soil modifier.
As Vee stated FFOF is hot and IMO is not suitable for a grow medium without mixing with anything to give drainage . Compost ........... is soaks up water...and starves the plants roots for oxygen.
