So here's my most recent lighting creation...

I'm loving the whole water cooling concept, which I use for both lights(Fresca Sol's), and CO2 with a HydroGEN. I couldn't grow in summer without it. Water cooling actually works great with a sun circle since water hoses can easily twist with the rotation and are much more compact than air duct. The glass is cool to the touch with 1000 watt bulbs inside.

The whole setup is mounted to a gear and pulley system that can raise and lower it as needed. A company called Racor makes this setup for garage ceiling storage but is absolutely perfect for lights, both stationary or on a mover. All four cables move together to keep everything level. I just replaced the 4'x4' platform they give you with a frame of Uni-strut rails.

While the whole deal was a labor to build it's pretty low maintenance to run, as long as that Sun Circle hangs in there !
