Water before seed goes in?

    I have some ready mix bag coco 70/30 mix with perlite I am going to add more perlite to it. What I need to know hopefully asap is do I water the coco then plant my germinated seed?

    I don't pre-germinate seeds but I do water the coco with a 1/4 strength bloom nutes.

    Yes water/feed before , you should never use plain RO water in coco it damages your buffer. I use a Canna Start , at the least I would do a lite cal mag mix as it has some N in it.
    Also no need to add more perlite .
    If your new to coco prepare to be freaked out by how wet it looks when it's right.

    Thank you so much guys. It looks like I am going to have to use ro water because my tap ppm is coming up at about 450

    I thought mine was high at 250
    I bought an ro buddy off Amazon for like $50

    How often shoul I be checking on this I have school for the next week. So I wanna make sure it does not dry out?

    At least every other day depending on how hot the room environment is.
