I cannot see previously read threads without searching them. The watched threads page only shows unread. This is a real pain.
Do you get an error when you try to upload a pic? What browser are you using (example Safari 9.0.2.)? Are you on your phone, or PC?
Pc, I am using firefox. It lets me select the picture in browse, then there is no option to finish the upload.
Try clearing your cache & cookies, see if that resolves the problem. If not, then @Lizard King will see what's going on, so he can fix it.
Restarting or closing a browser will not clear cookies unless you have some specific add ons that does that. If you have a similar add on can you please temporary disable that and try again
I have settings enabled for my safety to not keep any sort of history. I never had problems uploading a picture before...
When you select pictures , files are uploaded automatically , you are not required to finish any additional step. In fact the system offers you just additional step which is inserting pictures as full image or thumbnail to your post. But i'll ask this to be tested further with Windows Firefox P.S from a mac user : Actually problem lies on that two word : Windows & Firefox Bolt
Here is what happens.. I click inside the text box to reply I click upload a file It comes up with a pop up box with browse button and cancel button I select browse, select my picture The pop up stays there and the webpage loads a little bit the selected file is no longer selected, the pop up remains I hit cancel and no picture has been uploaded automatically to the text
Do you have any specific browser add on's ? If yes can you please list them for me so i can try to get an identical windows installation and try to reproduce the issue.
Try disabling noscript and see if it works. I fully respect security and you trying to achieve maximum security but when you block js , i suggest blocking the js that is designed to track you and for your information we don't have any end user tracking system built in to forums. The javascript you block is going to limit your user experience greatly
Nope, problem still there. Thanks anyways, I appreciate it. Ill find another way to upload/link pictures for now.
Ended up saying screw it and try uploading a picture from mobile without any sort of security and won't work. Figured I'd share.
