Hi Im going to make a pc stealth box due too only want grow personal, now im going down the bubbler hydroponics route but uncertain on a couple of things as 1.cos of space i expect the roots be in the water constantly is that ok? 2. ive read that in a dwc roots dont need to grow long as there not searching for nutes? im a geek so 1st phase is it build the box which gotta wait till pay day, but i can read and get my head around things 1st so the bulid will go straight forward, i have found a case and on the space the calculations say i need minimum 45w of light, but i going to 65w at 1st everything is going be diy im going with the cfl option may stick a 300w but also read the more light the more co2 it needs so i don't really want to go overboard although 2nd phase i probably will, the 1st phase basically get it up and running get a 1st harvest to understand it all, 2nd phase is the geek side of me 1st im going to build a array of leds with the spectrums needed for all cycles the drivers seem bulky so im going to put them outside the box as if its a digital subwoofer reason being i will be able to put a ardunio controller in there to control the diffrent sensors also to control light cycles for experiments with the light cycles but thats the 2nd phase anyways back to reading up i will post picks of my progress
awesome. i love how pc grows are picking up. dude if you want to grow hydro you can look up hempy buckets. im using them now, my first grow, everything is great, easy to flush if you burn or what ever, no pumps needed, just a simple pot with a hole in the side. Basically no maintenance needed. Just you have to water by hand and adjust the ph before watering, thats it. You could go with leds from the very begging, i am running about 35-40W most of the time, can go up to 47W. Good ventilation is needed, a c filter is bulky, and not stealthy at all, too noisy with 2 fans for me, so i will just leave 1 ventilator and put a diy o3 generator in the air tunnel after the fan.real fire hazzard if done wrong though. 300W is too much. for 1 separate pc box anyways. GL and post pics man
