I wanted to share this here, I know it doesnt belong here but I wanted to share with you guys. Washington state voted last night to legalize cannabis. It's major leap and bound to take on the federal government. As of this December cannabis will be legal to have up to an ounce on your person. Where not out of the woods yet, now we have to wait to see how the federal government does, could possible sue washigton state. Never been happier to live in the northwest. Well I don't roam the rest of the forum other then the micro area. So I wanted to share with ppl I talk to in this section. I'm stoked it's legal in my area. Go rain on some else's parade...
I know there are alot already but since this one got posted in the grow section, Does anyone know how it will affect the laws on growing in Colorado and Wash. St. ???

I-502 still makes it illegal for unlicensed personal grows, but I'd assume you could get a license and just not sell.
The medical side shouldn't be affected, the only issue for patients is going to be the new DUI laws for it will not exclude patients. Medical grows shouldn't be affected. And I'll keep growing, I'm just very happy we can have up to ounce on us. This is going to make a ton of revenue for our state.
hey yall, this is actually my first post on this forum. I remember when I lived in Seattle how lax the police were about marijuana use. being from Iowa where you go to jail for weed, I was terrified when a bike cop caught me with a blunt...all he said was "if your gonna smoke that, go up to freeway park." Im glad to hear they are moving forward in washington.
Hey man the forum sections are to organize things by topic, thats why these are all in like the General section. Just a tip so you don't end up doing it more in the future or having something deleted. Anyways, hell yea Washington!
I know, as I stated in the first post that I know this is out of place, but I frequent the micro section. So I wanted to share this here.
It's a pretty amazing step forward, Colorado was first to legalize then Washington the same night, Oregon is to vote as well. It has been stated it will legal as of dec. 6th for Washington, but Colorado may take a few months to a year. So far I haven't heard anything posted or commented by the federal government. This is just the first step in challenging the Feds. We'll see what happens but I can't wait to go home and have a victory bowl!
Hey man, I´ve heard about it, here in Brazil! Obama is the man! I´m happy that States doing it. Hope to star discussion here too. Our "Civil Code" will change in few months. Maybe it will be possible grow without worries around here too! For personal use. I´m with my finger crossed!
If the states can come up with a way to regulate to our federal governments liking we may win the war.
