Ok, So my fiance and I are new to the state. I am a web designer and have come here for a job I got hired for. We are in Tacoma and are heavy smokers. I hear all the time that the weed is really good around here. We only know 2 people here so far (outside of my job full of non smokers). They both smoke and provide us with some decent stuff, but honestly, its not hitting the levels of my expectations from word of mouth. 90% of the time we get what they call 'mid grade medical', **NOTE: we are from the bible belt and are not used to the medical etc...** Anyway, the bud isnt bad at all and im not complaining, especially when in SC this bud would be 25 a gram and its only 10 here.. But it really doesnt fit the hype. So I ask to you what is the best bud around here? is it easy to find and I just dont know the right people? if anyone is close to the area feel free to let me know. it would be nice to have a good stoner friend in the area lol. also... im driving about 45min to an hour to pick up bud... if anyone around tacoma area wants to sell to me... i always smoke a bowl or 2 with the dealer. and we are chill people
You just gotta know the right people is all. It takes time to cultivate connects. EDIT: But IMHO we Washingtonians do overestimate the quality of the bud we get here. Keep realistic expectations.
yea i agree, we have only been here a couple months and have seen a couple really good sacks but for the most part its just mediocre. yea i agree with your edit line. its definately not bad bud though.
Finding special strains is still all about knowing the right people, but the average quality is higher and cheaper than you'll find elsewhere. Seeing mids or schwag is almost unheard of around here. Try the uni man.

Yeah, I always get better bud in Oregon. And I have a few hookups in both Washington and Oregon--all my Oregon hookups have far better stuff usually. Although I do get the occasional dank in WA. I used to have a hookup in Tacoma that sold me brown weed once, which is pretty silly for the PNW, so I never went to her again. Luckily I have found a couple much better and closer hookups. But hey, as long as it isn't nasty I will smoke it, and it is rare to get nasty weed here.

I have had pretty good luck asking random people in Washington. Just ask the obvious looking ones if they know where you can find some weed.
Go to the casino's. Happy Days, Macau, and CHIPS are 3 good places to meet other stoners. I used to play poker at all of em and I know at least 20+ people that smoke weed at those 3 paces. Go to the bars IN the casino. U are bound to meet someone. Also. There is TONS of good weed around here. U just gotta find it.
Depends on who u know. I have been buyin weed in Tacoma/olympia area for 10 years. Never once have I got brown weed or seeds in my weed. NEVER
I smoke bud man. Dont sell it. Like I said. Casino bars. U might just run into me without even knowin it.
On the campus it'll be different. A lot of people smoke on campuses, especially in Western Washington. If all else fails you can go to Hempfest in Seattle and see if you can track down anybody in your area who smokes weed. At the absolute worst you'll get a good deal on smoking equipment and smoke a lot of weed.
well I may have to try some of these suggestions. if for no other reason then the driving distance i have to go to pick up every day / other day lol.

Your in the hood, Tacoma is the roughest place in Wa, you are probably getting ghetto meds.. You just have to find the right people, I live a bit ot far away to help you out but you will find GREAT weed just keep looking.
