I just got through with this and I have to say its a good read. Lots of food for thought. Kamran Pasha: Was Jesus a Vegetarian?
Somehow I doubt it. I mean as much as people wanna dismiss fish as meat, Jesus did make a whole lot of bread and fish for everyone to eat that one day.
I don't think he was a strict vegetarian, but I don't think he ate a lot of meat. Most people didn't in that time. Meat was a luxury, diets were based off earth-grown sources.
No, he wasn't And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” If you know anything about Quabbalah this should make sense foryou. God is the ether that all elements are willed into creation from, various foods/vitamins consisting of various elements. Example B12 corresponding to fire, as it causes you to be active/energetic, higher vibration such as fire. Kabbalah is the "word of god", the universal language when used, turns desire into reality immediately at the mere utterance of the right kabbalistic phrase, it's one way God created, "in the beginning their was the word". Hence, you need a balanced diet, balanced in the elements/vitamins/nutrition. Depriving your body of any "element" will cause disease and imbalance. Protein is one of those "elements' corresponding to earth, and you won't find much protein in a vegetarian diet, unless you eat alot of coconut. I'm not saying a vegetarian diet isn't healthy, but it's not the "healthiest"
