Well I'm going to try my hardest to make it to Charlotte. I'm excited for alot of the bands playing this year.... Alesana, The Devil Wears Prada, Gym Class Heroes, As I Lay Dying, Bless The fall.. ahhh so many more.... i dont think the line up is quit as good as last year... escape the fate won't be there which is upsetting. anyways has anyone been to there local warped yet?
I actually dont think any of those bands at all are worth paying money for. Not even remotely. Warped tour has become mainstream corporate bullshit. Sorry ^_^

haha all opinions, but many of these bands are really really religous christians, thats anything but mainstream in my opinion. if anything i think its not mainstream. haha opinions, opinions, opinions.
Warped Tour HAS become mainstreem corporate bullshit. I went to the Ventura date on Sunday. Had a good time. A few band I hold dear to my heart. Although, 90% of that christian hardcore/metal/metalcore I don't even consider music... Bands I saw: Against Me! Reel Big Fish The Briggs Oreskaband Pennywise Street Dogs Unfortunately, my musical taste is extremely one-sided. IMO, the bands that you named are probably the worst excuses for music I've ever heard. Not to be a dick (I think I've already passed that point?) but I highly recommend checking out one of the talented bands on the tour. Check out ORESKABAND. You wont be dissapointed. They put on one hell of a show. You should have a good time though...hopefully it won't be too hot on the date that your going too. Oh, and this should probably be in the Music Hall?
I might go to the one in MA. The lineup is alright this year. yeahh I used to like escape the fate a lot, hence the name but I kinda stopped listening to them. I saw devil wears prada at jannus landing they put on a good show.
it has gotten less fun every year i gone for the last few years so prob not but if i do it will be in MA
The dillinger escape plan Protest the hero The human abstract These are probably some of the more talented bands there. Complex time signatures/ very skilled technical riffs/ sweep arpeggios/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ysox0Ea9CF0
Fuck the Warped tour. It turned into bullshit just like everything always does. The early years with NoFX, The Suicide Machines, Bouncing Souls, Descendents, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Rancid, Sublime, Suicidal Tendencies, motherfuckin' Blink and other bands were it.
I am going to warped tour this year (At the gorge, seattle) but I have to admit it has progresively gotten worse over the years if it doesnt pick up I probably wont go next year.
I would only go to see Anberlin and Reel Big Fish.... I went for the '04 and '05 Warped Tour and I woulda went in '06 but they had raised ticket prices from 23 bucks to like 40-something. That was back before they sucked cause I got to see the Offspring, Billy Talent, Coheed and Cambria, New Found Glory and Hopesfall
Yeah what the hell happened to REAL punk rock? I only went one year, and I was only there for NOFX and flogging molly pretty much.
I went to the phx warped tour. Got to see Reel Big Fish, and Mc Chris the rest sucked lol cept Pennywise
Yeah I kinda got fucked out of going to Warped this year. Hopefully I'll be able to go for my birthday though. However, I did go last year, and it kicked fucking ass. Right up front of the 13 stage for Bayside's set. =]
