Hello, I broke my Illy a while ago and then bought a classic volcano vaporizer and I'm more then happy with it, but now I would like another piece of glass to have a little variety. What I was thinking since I cannot leave a bong on display I would like to get a quality bubbler, but since I don't know much about them I would like to hear you're opinions on what are the best makers and the best types of Percs? My price range is around 250$, thanks.
After doing a little research I decided on a Möbius clear bubbler with a matrix perc, I know it's over budget but I can't help but be drawn to it. I am going to call a local headshop to make sure they carry them and go pick it up next weekend. I just have a few more questions, I know a bubblers main use is for concentrates but will flowers be ok until I can afford a decent setup? Then if anyone has had any experience using one, how was the drag? Was it smooth? And how difficult is it to clean? Thanks.
Nice choice. I like Mobius a lot. They are great for flowers, but any kind of highly complex perc like that is going to be slightly harder to get spotless clean, but ISO and salt should get it. They have hardly any drag, and they clear instantly. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I feel that with glass you get what you pay for.
4sure You must have a pretty decent headshop if they can easily get a Mobius Matrix in for you. Cali?
I've seen illuzion online. Biggest smoke shop I've ever seen. The matrix bubbler will be better for flowers than oil but you will not be disapointed.Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yeah I'm excited to go see their shop, it looks more like an art gallery online haha. That's good to hear since I've never tried oil/wax and don't really want to, I enjoy opening a jar and getting that waft of tasty bud.
I called yesterday and they said they only had one, so I went and picked it up today. Here is a pic while it's still spotless.
That's the same one I have. I didn't know if you were getting the ion or that one. It was the first high end piece I ever bought. The hardest part to clean is the tube going down to the perc. If you have a cleaning brush it makes it easier.Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Nice haha, I didn't want the ion because of the base, thats what broke on my Illy. What kind of cleaning brush?
I don't know what they are called. Not the cheesy flimsy pipe cleaners the ones with a twisted wire handle with the bristles at the end. Get a small one that will reach the length of the tube. Be careful not to jam it to the bottom because the end is metal. Use it with some iso alcohol and salt when cleaning. The sides are easy to get with some shaking.Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using Grasscity Forum mobile app
