Yea, there really isnt a guide for using CFL's its pretty basic. You should look at others grow journals who have used CFL's to get a good idea of how to mount, amount you need, and distance/ventilation. I will pass on this tip though, I saw one guy on here had a small cheap white converter that allows you to plug your CFL bulbs directly into a power strip. Great way to reduce wiring, and make mounting alot easier. He said they were only a dollar a piece at home depot too. Read up, and good luck.
The way I've gone about it is by using mechanic-style under-car inspection lamps for the fittings, that way you can plug the bulb into it, and then plug the whole thing straight into a power point. Check my 'Definitive Lighting Guide' out maybe - use the search button. Hope all goes well - boingk
