Want to talk fox farm

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Saro, Jan 6, 2020.

  1. Looking to have an actual discussion about this company's nutrient line and probably their soil will make its way in as well. I'm very aware of the mixed emotions and feelings towards fox farm and I'd really appreciate that we have that discussion somewhere else please. I really want to have an actual talk about the nutes, not the company.

OK, so with that out of the way, hopefully, I use fox farm nutes and soil and I personally like them a lot. Now I do run the complete line including bushdoctor and solubles. And that in lies the beginning of my questions. Anyone familiar with their smart naturals feeding schedule? I'd like to discuss that and the difference between it and the normal feeding schedule. I'm thinking about dropping tiger bloom and grow big, but I know for a fact that those two nutes make a huge difference. Anyone ran the line without those two, basically going fox farm organic, for the most part or as far as I can tell. Hope to get some interest here and have a real discussion. Good luck to you all, and stay safe. Oh and happy new year!!

  2. I use Happy Frog soil..........Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Beastie Bloomz for nutes........I like it alot and always gives me good results

  3. Fox Farm is fine. Just pricey. I have grown in FF soil and then only Grow Big through complete grow. Results pretty much the same as using the trio. Hope that answers your question.

  4. There are no mixed feelings towards FF :)

You're saying you know the 2 other trio nutes make a big difference but want to stop using them? Why? Lol

  5. Because they are salt based chemical nutrition. I'd like to get away from that. Just because it works doesn't mean it's good you know.

  6. I'm looking at the smart naturalist feeding schedule, basically it's some modifications to the amounts and minus grow big, tiger, and the solutions. My curiosity lies in how much damage is actually done to the micro organisms, myco, rhizo etc. As I'm learning more and more the importance of those in growing.

  7. Sorry, the damage that the chemical nutes cause the micros.

  8. Not trying to be rude at all, sorry if that's read that way. Was not intended.
