Want to be a Legal Grower?

  1. Hello, Im currently looking into moving to a MMJ state and legally growing. Montana seems to be the best choice due to the caregiver situation. Obviously Cali, but they seem to having some serious seetbacks lately. Anywho I cant do this alone, I need some partners to go in with me. I have EXTREMELY high ambitions, as in a one day seed company and Cannabis Cup contender. If your interested in atlest talking about it, let me know. I know its a lofty idea, but hey, google started in some dudes fucking dorm room.. Even Marijuana comes from just a tiny seed :)

  2. have you looked into what it would take to get certified for medical marijuana-growing out of curiosity?

  3. yes actually.. and i quote from the Montana NORML website...

    Medical Marijuana Caregivers:

The law allows each registered patient to assign a single caregiver to grow/provide medical marijuana to them. This is done at the time of registration, or later, via a change request form (PDF).
    Becoming a Caregiver

There is no process for caregiver registration besides having a new or existing patient name you as their caregiver.

  4. wow... sweet :hello:

i wouldn't take long to talk into something like that... obviously more details would be needed... but hey man, i'm kinda down ;)

  5. yea? what kind of growing experience do you have? would you really be willing to just relocate to Montana?

  6. i've done about 4 grows... 1st one with bagseed, then got some AK, Sour Diesel, Purple #1... (made a purple AK mix that looked secksy last year) just started another batch with some Cali bagseed while i wait for my good seeds to hopefully clear customs :p

always used peat moss based with organic ferts... so not crazy knowledgeable with hydro and aero, but a friend had a hydro setup a couple years back that I helped him set up and monitored for a week or so when he went on vacation :)

It's not like I'm packing my bags right now, but nothing's really holding me here... I'm 24, freelance artist... soo.... yea

    how soon ya talkin?

  7. Our experience is relatively the same lol, but marijuana growing is not that hard or expensive.. which is the beautiful fucking thing! but i would be ready to start looking at heading out come July or August.. We would probably have to get some odd jobs to pay the bills until we got rolling.

  8. well, i'm interested... was considering going the cali route cause i know a guy in the biz down there, but i suppose montana's just as well... it'd break my heart to leave 10 girls outside with nobody to pluck the fruits, so late fall/early winter would be a better time for me...

how much equipment you have already? Cause my operation's pretty low-tech... a grow-box for seedlings/clones, a room with some 300w cfl's for aspiring moms, and a bigass sun for everything else... it works for me, but for quantity i don't have much that's useful tech-wise

  9. include me in too....ill tell ya what i can do, only if u pm me :smoking:

  10. Montana medical provider and patient here.... There is one stipulation; you cannot be a legal grower in the state of Montana if you have any felony convictions, particularly any felony drug convictions.

This is especially funny to me (well, tragic really). They make sure you have no criminal background so they can give you a card that allows you to commit Federal Felonies!

The Montana situation is actually really stupid. The link between dealer and consumer must be completely broken. The system was clearly put together by a bunch of fools who had no clue about the herb game.

The way the law is written, it is literally impossible to provide Marijuana to patients without VIOLATING THE STATE LAW! Every legal dealer here in MT buys weed on the black market and then they sell it. Just like any illegal dealer.

The few times I've seen some bud that was actually grown here in Missoula, it was poorly grown and/or poorly cured (if cured at all).

Hopefully the situation will change soon, and some system that was actually designed by marijuana smokers and growers will be implemented in place of the idiotic mess we have now.

If you come to Montana, you better know what you're doing. It is the gold rush all over again. Everyone and their mother is growing weed.

  11. im down. idc if i have to grunt work and learn what to do...as long i get the "experience" and some buds

oh shit your in ohio too?!

  12. Born in Cleveland, Raised in Toledo, Learned the Game in the streets of Detroit.

Currently and permanently residing in Missoula Montana. Don't tell anyone, or they'll all come here.... But MT is the shit.

  13. damn man, i was born in dayton..moved to cleveland..then moved to columbus, i've lived all over ohio. im thinkin about headin to oregon though

  14. Toledo FJ, thank you for the information! I hear you on the gold rush, I kinda assumed thats what would be going down. How many patients do you have?

Sublime, unfortunately, yes.. Ohio.. But as you can see hoping to get out soon.. Anyways if your seriously interested hit me up.

  15. i am but im not cause i guess i gotta good thing goin here for now. but if shit doesnt start lookin up come august im gonna try to get out of here

  16. ive been looking at becoming a legal grower for a while. Unfotunatly the drug hasnt yet been legalised for medical patients and although many users do use it for medical purposes they are sometimes inprisoned for it.

Fortunatly i found the only company in the UK that was given LEGAL permission to cultivate the drug for medical research and later on used the research to great medicined contains chemicals taken from marijuana

I recently emailed the company known as GW Pharmaceuticals for information the the cultivation side of the company in order to better understand how i could become a legal grower. As profit is not my main source of ineterest. I simply like growing weed haha

  17. I'd love to pursue this, but not sure if I have the experience or not. I am more into breeding than just growing. It sounds like an interesting venture. I'm personally looking at Colorado, New Mexico, or California myself, only California has so much up in the air right now.

  18. I was planning on going somewhere out west to grow medical bud. I left school after one semester and Im living with my mom again.

Im currently growing 6 plants in my closet because I want to get some experience then move after I harvest. Itd be cool to enter this type of business with a few other people right from the start for sure.

I say we all go for it man. If we had a group of people think of how much more large scale we could become because of all the extra supplies we'd all be throwin down for.

  19. yeah man thats for sure. with all the combined experience and tips and tricks. i bet we could do pretty good.

  20. thats what i mean dub'd.. and im already making contacts in the state, Im not trying to kid anyone though.. Its gonna be kinda rough until we get shit started, have to take on odd jobs and shit to pay the bills since it will take a couple months to get the first months harvest
