One of the most frustrating things is to get the people actually voting on drug policy to hear your arguments. We can write to our Representatives and Senators but a lot of the time our letters are handled by low-level staffers who've been instructed to send form letters to everybody writing in on the issue of drug policy reform. This is very frustrating because we can't influence the voting patterns of our legislators if we can't actually get them to hear our arguments. So here is Congress's own blog. Anyone can post here, and while it doesn't guarantee you'll be heard it definitely increases your chances.
