    I know it's winter but anyone on here Wakeskate? Specially in or around Maryland?

    Just started wake boarding when i got my boat last summer. Gonna get my wake skate board soon any tips? lol

    It's pretty much the same thing just no bindings and falls are way more forgiving.

    06 175 bayliner. Its not the most powerful boat but it gets me up and im 220 lol i want somethin more tho

    Wake skating, to me, is a waste of time and energy. I would rather burn my muscles down wake boarding and tubing tbh. It has some novelty but its not that fun.

    Getting up on a board without bindings is easier if you slide the boat into gear and drag for a moment before hitting it hard.

    I used to skate tho so being able to do the same tricks on water just looks so much more forgiving and fun Haha

    Every time you fall you have to reset and get dragged up. I can skate on pavement all day. But after 5-6 restarts your body will let you know. Being 220 on a smaller board doesn't put any less stress on your body. Wake skates are built more for the 5'8" 140lbs type of guys. Just popping out of the water enough to do a shove it takes serious skills at our size.

    I could see where it could be difficult lol i know the first few tries wakeboarding wore me out

    Wakeskating IMO is so much more fun then wakeboarding granite I never did flips but grabs an spins yes,and can do those on a skate plus shuvs an body variels,my buddies got kick flips frontside an backside flips sexchange u name it he's dirty.youtube noisiavision it's a sick trailer an gives a great insite to the sport

    I'm 510 roughly 180 and I do just fine,it takes practice like anything,and the proper equipment right boat or winch or ski an right size board

    ya dog i spend my whole life out on a boat haha we have a privet lake in my back yard haha i wake skate a bit but mostly ski this summers ganna be sick western regionals are at my home lakeee!!!
