VPD fluctuations.

  1. I have a question for you all who understand the VPD.
I am starting to follow the VPD chart, and even though I have been growing for a few years, this is my first time implementing using VPD.
My question is, my temps are pretty stable at 78-81F* for my current growth stage Early VEG, the VPD chart shows kpa of 0.44 and 0.67 my humidity fluctuates between 78 and 83% RH. So I'm bouncing in between these ranges through out the day.
This isn't a issue I'm hoping, I guess optimally i would want them dead on and accurate, but ideally I'm good with how it's working for for me?

  2. I understand VPD and I don't really agree with VPD.
IMO you should not be running any over 60% post seedling because you are inviting mold and other opportunistic pathogens.
    Veg 50-60.
    Flower 40.
Keep your temps in check (~25°C) and you will be good thoughout.

The vpd doesn't consider trichome count, or how trichomes increase in dry climates.

  3. Interesting exactly my first thoughts when I first heard about high temp high humidity numbers

  4. ..and your vdp should change dues to day conditions even inlet air will have drastic changes to room humidity
