Vortex Cold Fusion Bong....

Not sure how these specifically work, but it looks like the same kind of tech as the Illy coil condensers, which are fucking awesome.

 

yeah they jacked the illy glycerin coil design...and thats not awesome...IMO its jank

 

Ive seen them at a show, they looked nice. They did use the coil design from illy but isnt DWB and Itza making pillars the same thing?

 

Yeah I can see that, but it's still not going to be illy quality or as pretty as a real illy.

Its NOT the same... Its a shitty, china quality rip-off tube. Illy is a high quality american company.

So its not a win, its a false pretense. Your expecting an inferior quality piece to match up to the expectation of a much superior piece.

I hear those vortex models are SUPER draggy and the glass you pretty thin and unreliable to me.

But its your money, spend it how you like . Pretty sure they retail around $300.

I just hitup one of the local shoppes today, they got a big Hoss display they just got in with this piece of shit bong there for $499 claiming its Hoss, pffff.
Such bad form.

 

I know what you mean man, Like I bought this product and I really like it. Hard to find them out there and all the coil I was finding were like a thousand bucks. It bummed me out, but I bought this glass Vortex and love it. I get the coil part and a fatty beaker, but I paid $320 for the whole set up. I don't think I would have paid much more than that. If you can get one of these for under 300, damn, i would grab one. any good cold ice peice, but this bitch is a showstopper at parties

 

I'd say no because Itza is actually making a product of equivalent (or close to) quality as it's originator. DWB isn't even making real pillars, or at least the ones I've seen weren't. And vortex was along the same lines but worse, didn't look clean or like anything but china glass.

IMO: take the money you'd have to spend to get something with a glycerin coil and get a better tube and put ice in it if you really want it to be cold. Or get a freeze-able steamroller. Glycerin is a gimmick to me.

 

I just foud them in the uk. are they available anywhere else in the UK, the site is expensive

that cold fusion just looks great, and every review i have seen encourages me more. but they are on sale for $500 in the USA. so that one is the cheapest i have found. $550 is £350 so that's only about $50 dollars more, shipping would cost 100 dollars easy from the states
any ideas let me know???? if not, I'm going to just get the one in my previous post. i cant find them anywhere else. period

please don't buy this thing. I tried one out when they were at kushcon in Denver and its amazingly disappointing.

its quality glass for sure, but wayyy over priced. imagine taking a hit through a coffee straw, that's how this thing is. there's so much drag because of the coil tube. they look sweet and all but not worth the money..
