  1. it looks like Dr. Paul is considering a veep position w/Johnson. Here's the info I got this a.m. from a friend who was a Colorado national delegate for Ron Paul. Sign the petition, contact Ron Paul's office. It ain't over and we sure as hell can't let Willard and Barry think they have this in the bag.

    HERE'S THE INFO::hello:

    It appears that Ron Paul may be considering joining the Libertarian ticket as VP to Gary Johnson. I was on a national conference call tonight with a gentleman who spoke directly to Dr. Paul yesterday. It appears the Libertarian Party, and the current VP candidate, is open to the discussion. The Libertarian Party is registered in all 50 states, and our votes would not be wasted.

    Dr. Paul is concerned about the long-term repercussions to his son, Rand Paul (who may run for President in 2016), and to all of the work and progress we've made in the GOP.

    BUT, after months and months of egregious actions against liberty-lovers and Paul supporters on the part of establishment GOP in the states, culminating in the shameful actions against Paul delegates at the RNC in Tampa by Mitt Romney's lead attorney, Ben Ginsberg, with full cooperation by RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and the Romney campaign, there is legitimate reason to consider options.

    In other words: actions have consequences.

    Wouldn't it be great to cast a positive vote in November?

    If you are interested in expressing support for Dr. Paul's consideration of a VP spot on the Libertarian Party ticket in November, please contact him NOW.

    sign the petition at RonPaul2012.net
    call his congressional offices
    Washington DC: 202.225.2831
    Lake Jackson, TX: 979.285.0231
    Victoria, TX: 361.576.1231
    contact him via his congressional website: Congressman Ron Paul
    One word of caution: if you hold an elected or appointed office in the GOP, call or write Dr. Paul directly. Do not sign the on-line petition, as it may affect your ability to hold office in the GOP. However, we don't check our First Amendment rights at the door of the GOP, so just be wise in your public, on-record support of a third-party effort.
    Please forward to friends and family and post on social media sites, as appropriate!
