Vivosun closet tent & Mars Hydro TS 1000

    Its been a while but I decided to start a new journal. I decided outdoor grows in Oklahoma werent the most simple grows to do largely in part to the raging humidity we have here. After a couple of years of battling mold and bud rot ive moved my grows back inside. Heres the set up.

    This is a small scale closet grow for personal medical use.

    Vivosun 36x20x62 tent.

    Vivosun 440 cfm exhaust fan

    Passive intake

    2x Mars Hydro TS1000 LED

    Ill be using Roots Organic Coco in smart pots and feeding with General Hydroponics nutes. Ill also be using cal/mag.

    Ill be germinating seeds directly in the pot.

    I have some light cleaning and organizing to do tonight before i start the process. My last grow was a month ago so i have to reset.

    Ill be germinating in the next day or so.

    Help me decide which strain to choose![​IMG]

    The intake is passive and draws from the room the closet is in. The closet stays closed so i ran the duct from the room to keep the tent cooler.

    I have an 4 inch inline intake fan. But i dont use it. Using a 4 inch passive intake with a 6 inch exhaust keeps the air pressure in the tent negative.

    Also ill be using a Exhale CO2 bag. I used one on my last grow with pretty good results. PPM stayed around 950-1200.

    Decided on Paradise Seeds Sensi Star. Ive been wanting to do this one for a while.

    I use peat pellets and drop the seed about 1/4 of an inch under the surface and let nature take its course. Hope to see a seedling in a week.[​IMG]

    The medium is ready. Roots Organic Soilless. Coco and perlite. 5 gallon fabric pot. Waiting on germination makes one impatient. Lol[​IMG]

    Looking forward to seeing this unfold. I've got a pair of the TS600 units combined with a SpiderFarms SF1000 in a 4 x 2 closet that can accommodate up to five 5 gal buckets for flowering.

    Nice bro. I want to upgrade to an HLG 350R. But ive pondered adding supplemental lighting.

    I'm always well behind the cutting edge with three cabinets half the size of the closet that run COB fixtures and old school UFOs.

    Well i checked today and we have a baby Sensi Star! Got the bottom of the peat pellet opened up and placed her in her new home. Lights are on a 20/4 cycle.
