Does anybody in here edit videos? If so what software do you use. I have been asked to make a copy of a dvd for somebody. I know how to burn and copy movies fine but this time I want to cut bits of the film out and add bits in. The film is for my friends parents who don't know anything about technology and don't know me. I want to surprise them a little. What i want to do is to cut out the key points of the movie and to insert a bit of hardcore gay pour-noooooo. It sounds mean but I really have to get back at this guy for crashing my car. btw the movie is Mamma Mia!
Yea man, Im a friggin seasoned pro at video editing, cutting and so on (search for me by anme at youtube to see examples. You can always import the raw video onto your computer via USB (i prefer firewire) and either use Windows Movie Maker (in the start menu) for beginners, or try something more powerfull. I usually use Ulead Video Studio 11, it's got a million features for editing and special effects. Other than that, the more techy programs I use are Adobe After Effects, Particle Illusion, etc. Editing is pretty easy once you get the hang of the GUI, and I find it to be tons of fun!
Import the movie into WMM (movie maker), be sure you've converted it into something compatible, (AVI, WMV, MP4) and then select the position in the timeline where you want it to break, add in your porn shit (between the slice) and export. Then you can burn the file to a DVD or something, but expect to lose a little video and audio quality in the transelation, it happens.
you're being a dick again like you were to your brother why would you do something intentionally like that when i'm pretty sure he didn't crash your car on purpose and why involve his parents - what have they got to do with it?
There is a lot more to the story, but I can't post it on here. Chillax. I'm not being a dick it's harmless fun. Me and my friends are always playing jokes on each other. Some of the stuff that has happened to me is even worse. I wouldn't do these things if there wasn't just cause.
