I was wondering if any of the blades knew where i could get a freeware version of a program that would convert mpeg, avi, and rm video into dvd video so i could burn them. I have about 50 south parks and probably 100 other episodes of random shows i want to burn onto DVDs. Thanks in advance for any help.
hey, i actually want to do the opposite.. is there any way to convert .iso into an avi or mpeg? or a bin to avi?
just off the top of my head, grass roots, you could burn it to a cd which will put it in whatever format it originally was. Then, if you still want the file for whatever reasons, you could copy the file off of the cd. I wish I could help you too Gilligan, but I don't have any experience with DVD burners yet. I was looking into some conversion software at one point to make VCDs for the same purpose, but it seemed like a pain in the ass when I was looking at it, so I still just burn the file to a cd and watch them on my computer. If my laptop was working correctly I could connect it up to the tv like I used. That made movie watching nice.
Easiest program I've found is the new verison of Nero. version 6.0 I'm pretty sure You just add the files you want to burn, it then when you click burn, it automatically converts them recodes them and then burns them, never got a coaster either. You can d/l it of any p2p program (limewire, bearshare, kazaa lite)
