Thinking about getting this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202090 and this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152054&cm_re=600w17-152-054Product my comp has a 300w power source and of course the video card is really bad. I just wanted to know if these would be good upgrades that I could replace my old stuff with, not too sure about the compatibility either though. Any input is appreciated. Going to use the comp mainly to play videogames and want to have a nicer experience with graphics than I have right now which is the minimum. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.140309-1509) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: p7-1534 BIOS: 8.15 Processor: AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 6808MB RAM Page File: 1871MB used, 5959MB available Windows Dir: C:\\windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.02.9200.16384 64bit Unicode --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: AMD Radeon HD 7560D Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Your current PSU won't handle a 270 series, but you've got that covered with the raidmax. :3 the 270 will be a major upgrade over your APU. Since you're headed in this direction already, you may want to consider upgrading to a better, OC friendly CPU. By plunking in dedicated graphics, you're damn near making your apu worthless, as half their usefulness comes from barely on-par integrated graphics processing. To the point - snag yourself a nice vishera quad core - 4400 series or hell, an 8 core 8350 if you're the ballsy type - and some decent aftermarket cooling. The A8 has some decent frequency, but all the raw ghz in the world won't net you much performance without some decent floating math capabilities and a decent sized cache. ~A2C Sent from my HTC One using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Is there any graphic requirements for the oculus rift? Thinking about dk2 for my sim rig. SickAsTits.
not too sure on that but it might require some power being that it basically renders into 3d, but as to what extent I would not know.
i just got a new card a few hours ago and after getting it installed and such im really happy with it. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-geforce-gtx-750-ti-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card/4906008.p?id=1219104862829&skuId=4906008&st=evga%20graphics%20card&cp=1&lp=6 it needs a 300w PSU so to get it id suggest getting a better PSU since you really dont want to be at the max. the psu i use is 500w and was only like 70 bucks or something.
