i found out there are some really tiny insects walking on my 1 week old plants...
It very hard to make a good oicture because there are so small.
Could someone tell what they are and what i can do about them?
I have been taking them off by hand but for sure there will be a few i didnt find yet because they are so small

  2. not sure what it it but neem oil spray should help..

  3. Yeah im trying to find some but where i am from is really hard to get...

  4. Thrips. Neem oil and castile soap can help knock down the numbers, but your best bet for eliminating them would be a bt product such as spinosad.

  5. Hmmm allright.. that sucks.. i just checkt abit of my left over soil that i still had in the bag and noticed that there are some small jumping insects in there aswell. Might be the same..
Really sucks now that it should have been a very high quality soil that cost me 20eu for 45liter bag...

  7. Thrips do overwinter in soil, but they tend to hang out on plants. As far as the small jumping bugs in the soil, I would suspect springtails, which are basically harmless.

The best thing to do for proper identification is to put them under a microscope and compare them to pictures of thrips, springtails, etc for confirmation, but with a trained eye you can identify them without one.

  8. Allright, thank you so much guys!! Lets see if i can get my hand on some of that spinosad and fingers crossed they will be gone.

  9. you think i should do the flushing with my 1 week old plants or will i be allright if i can get the right pesticide Spray against the thrips?

  10. Would a canna cure spray help?
I think its impossible to find a neem oil here where im from..

  11. You need to employ a pest management plan.
Weekly prophylactic spraying with neem, BT, Spinosad, Azamax etc...
Alternating the pesticides keeps the bugs from developing immunities to any one particular insecticide.
BT (bacillus thuringiensis) is a pesticide that is specific to caterpillars and should be introduced a bit later in the season. When growing outdoors this should not be omitted. Caterpillars are some of the worst offenders. They bore down into the buds and poop in there. Then that causes mold to grow inside your nugs. Not a good thing!

  13. Looks like a thrip. There’s another on the opposite leaf.
1 week old plant, I would throw, disinfect and start again lol. But that’s just because I’ve had them before. No matter what you hear they are a bastard to get rid off completely.
that small I guess you have a better chance but fuck I would still just restart.
You need to break the life cycle! they lay their eggs inside the leafs.

  14. I dont wanne get rid of my plants yet... there should be a way to loose them..there are just a few of then at the moment and im taking then off daily.
Today my neem oil should arrive and im going to give that a try.

do you guys think its will help if i also spray spme neem oil on the soil incase there are nesting there?

  15. you need to spray the soil, they are in their.. That’s why olds recommended a soil drench.
Please keep updating this thread. I want to see you win the war, GL!

  17. Today my neem oil arrived and i will spray my leafs with it and spray some soil aswell, not sure if it will do anything on the soil but hey why not try..

After a vert long search on the internet i found this product.
but is this the right one? And to drain my spil with it should this 25ml be enough you think?
I have 4 time 15 liter container with plants inside.

  18. Well i found out that in this country they will only sell you spinosad when you have the right documents to be giving to me... its not a normal thing to sell in the shop here.

i guess my only change to beat these thrips is my neem oil or chemicals that i dont want to use... so im gonna give the neem oil a change for a week with a good spray every 2 days and pray it will knock them out of my pots
