vertical cola

Begin with a piece of string. tie it to the top of your plant, then tie the string to your pot so you have a marijuana-bow and arrow type thing. each day shorten the piece of string and reattach it to the pot. this will make the plant develop a curve that gets bigger over time(as you shorten the string) wait patiently as new branches start to develop out of no where right off the main stem.

this effect is called lst and i do it with every plant i grow.


to do this you dont have to prune your plant at all and by not doing so it grows faster.


more branches = more yield and since your not clipping them at all just making them grow along the pot YOUR GOING TO GET A LOT OF "VERTICAL COLAS" grown horizontal or on angles...


sorry this didnt make to much sense man i know what i wanted to say but while reading your post i sparked some of the weed i just harvested and wow... oh wow....

 

unless im reading wrong he doesnt have room for LST but is trying to make just a main stalk with no so many side branches as to allow his plants good light all the way down-is this right? If so you can clip your side branches and only allow the main cola to grow, however this will put some stress on plant and slow its growth while it recovers unless you only clip 1 here one there,,I have read about peeps just clipping shorter colas and side growth in a attempt to have the top buds get more nutes and light and hopefully have bigger buds but if your pots are "TOUCHING" now and you are not yet flowering you will be crowding them gaurenteed as they double or triple in size during flower,, so do you know you have girls or have you sexed yet? because half of your plants will be male so id wait til sexed to start clipping and go from there-peace

 

well, if you dont' fim or top it, it'll just have one main cola, with maybe a couple secondary smaller heads.
