    Does anyone own a vent server or know someone that does that would make a channel for me and 1-2 friends to use while we play Diablo 2?

    just get TeamSpeak, there are thousands of free public servers to use.

    My BF2/BF2142 clan have a semi-public VT server (v2.1.4). It's located in Norway though. Might be some ping and/or PL issues due to distance if you're located on the wrong side of the atlantic :p We even have a Diablo2 channel that is mostly vacant. Uptime is 24/7.
