Wondering if anyone has tried hooking up there fans and filters with abs or pvc pipe. I was thinking the smooth walls and density of the pipe walls would cut back on noise.
So many reasons why this is a bad idea: The weight and inflexibility of these would make ventilation setup a nightmare, in the diAmeters you would need they are pricey, and noise would be even louder do the vibration of the pipes from the fan and air movement. this is what insulated ducting is for....
