  1. i have a closet for a washer and dryer. but i dont have one in there. but i notice a 4inch tube sticking out the wall. can i take all the extra heat from my room while flwring and vent thru there. i'm quite sure it comes out at the top of building.

  2. I have my room vented thru my dryer duct. It works well for me. I have my exhaust fan connected to the duct. The only issue I have is that the dryer does not operate as efficiently when the exhaust fan is running but, it doesn't sound like that will be an issue for you.

  3. I mentioned installing a 4' dryer duct for my op & the guy at the hydro store says go 6"

    Anybody think a 4" won't cut it? Max room size say, 5 x 10'

  4. The dryer duct I am using is 4". As I said before, I have a bit of an issue with the dryer and its operation. Have a good friend who is an HVAC guy and asked him about the situation. He said the same thing... go with the 6". Haven't done it yet, but when I do some modification on my room before my next grow, I plan to upgrade to 6".
