Venting into Attic?

    Have a 400w HPS closet/tent grow. Is it safe to exhaust hot air into the attic?

    I keep reading about venting hot/humid air into the attic could cause mold. Is this the same for us living on the coast where its already hot and humid?

    Also, can I leave my 6" inline fan running in a hot 100+ degree attic without worrying about it?

    Keep the fan in the room just run the duct into the attic and you may want to invest in an air filter

    I have a filter.. Just curious about wether its ok to vent directly into the attic?

    Oh sure...many people do it....the only time you have to worry is when its freezing outside.
