Hey all, Picking up my clones tonight and have a question about my room. 7x6x6 sealed room with CO2 enrichment (dual regulator, PPM controller etc). I have AC and wont be venting during lights on, but I was curious how often I should ventilate during lights out. I know plants need O2 during dark periods, so I just need to know what would be an acceptable "vents" per hour. Im thinking 2 times per hour would be more than sufficient. Thanks for your help all, it's most appreciated. Sgt.Stedenko
i would say to leav it running all night long, unless you would risk low temps by doing so. i run a sealed room and dont have an exhaust so my humidity climbs up to 90+%, so i would def advise in running the exhaust all night if possible to keep rh under controle
If the room is sealed and you are running an AC unit doesn't the AC unit take care of humidity? Then the only purpose of venting is to introduce O2 during the night? I hate the idea of adding vent ports and breaking the seal on the room, but perhaps it is required. To eliminate leakage during the day, the fans could be turned on slowly in the opposite direction than that of night. I want to make sure this is the right decision before cutting holes in my box.
dehumdifier, and your room isnt sealed with exhaust ..I use ac on low and duhuhim on high at night then dehimd off an ac full day..check my new grow ask me questions their and id clarify it more
If you are using a ductless A/C unit that has a dehumidify mode then you can dehumidify while maintaining seal, since the A/C will export the humidity in form of water through a water tube that is separate from the air flow.
