ventilation

  1. I'm growing out of my closet, and I'm using a 400 or 600 watt hps (havn't decided). how can I vent it without leaving the door wide open all the time? :/

  2. U wanna suck hot air out of the closet and pull in fresh air,
You should make the closet lightproof and air tight when u close the doors.
Cut out an exhaust hole at the top of the closet and wire up a fan,
Then cut some intake holes at the end of the closet,
Then have a fan inside the wardrobe to circulate the air inside,
Thats it really, u should check out some of the old posts to get a better idea of wot u need to do.
    Hope that helps!

  3. You are going to need at least this for extraction for a 400w http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/SLTD160.html and more if you use the 600. You will need at least 4 passive intakes and like said above a fan to shift the CO2 around. That fan that I posted is ultra quiet, don't know what part of the world you are in so I don't know if you can get one where you are. I have the TD160 and the TD250 for my 3x5x6 space using a 400w and a 600w. ...........good luck m8

  4. making an air cooled hood for your light wouldnt hurt either...
